Alfred Adagbedu (Ing.)

Alfred is a multilingual engineer, entrepreneur and a businessman who has started multiple businesses in Africa, Europe, North America and South America over the past 34 years. He has been honoured with several awards including Ghana Oil & Gas Associations’ Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense leadership, foresight and contributions to the Oil & Gas industry.

He built and expanded Seaweld from a small operation in Ghana into 15 other countries across Africa, Europe and the Americas. He has other businesses interest in agriculture, mining and telecom. Alfred is passionate businessman committed to developing opportunities, creating jobs and empowering people.

He has 34 years of marine and energy sector experience having worked at different levels of the industry. He has led Seaweld to be one of the major trailblazing indigenous oil and gas companies in Ghana.  The company has actively been involved in building components for two FPSO’s in Ghana. Items include Pipe Racks, Deck stools and Riser protection Frames. Some subsea Manifolds have also been built by the company. Seaweld is renowned for its scaffolding in the sub-region.
